Furniture

Furniture the workshop makes to order

Nothing on this site is sold from stock. Every piece the workshop produces is cut to the dimensions on a drawing, which is why these pages are specification sheets rather than a catalogue: there is no product to browse, only a set of typical ranges and a list of what the workshop needs in order to quote.

The five categories below are the ones that come up most often, and they are grouped the way a buyer actually orders rather than the way a workshop organises its benches. Each sheet gives the typical dimensional ranges, the materials and finishes available, the hardware specification, a dimensioned schematic, the minimum order, the lead time and the answers to the questions that tend to arrive before a brief does.

Figures on these pages are typical ranges, never fixed formats and never a statement of workshop capacity. Every piece is made to size. Production is the workshop's, as is quality control, packing and shipping through its freight forwarders. Ubud Atelier is your single point of contact with the workshop throughout.

Materials

Six materials run across all five categories: A-grade plantation teak, reclaimed teak, natural rattan, bamboo, volcanic stone and solid brass. The material pages carry the performance data and the documentation that travels with each one.

Not sure which category applies

Most projects cross two or three of them, and a brief does not need to be sorted into categories before it is sent. Describe the scope, the destination and the target date, and the workshop reads it as one project.
