How it works
Who does what between Ubud Atelier and the workshop?
Ubud Atelier introduces your project to one workshop in Kerobokan, Bali, makes the first contact, facilitates communication and relays the workshop's information to you. Production, quality control, packing, shipping and lead times are the workshop's and its freight forwarders'.
How does a project start?
Briefs are received through the contact form only: property type, scope, destination and target date. Ubud Atelier relays the brief to the workshop. A reply follows within 48 hours by email.
How long does a project take?
The workshop's typical lead times are 8 to 10 weeks of production and 12 to 20 weeks door to door depending on destination. These are typical figures from the workshop, never a commitment from Ubud Atelier.
What is the minimum budget?
Hospitality projects, such as a boutique hotel, a rental villa, a restaurant or a beach club, start from €25,000. Private residences, for owners furnishing their own house, start from €10,000. Prices are in euros.
Who prepares the quotation?
The workshop. After reviewing the brief, it issues the quotation directly, with Ubud Atelier in copy.
Who handles shipping?
The workshop, with its freight forwarders. Import duties and taxes depend on the destination country: each destination page lists the indicative rates.
Does the workshop install the furniture on site?
In Bali only. For villas and developments on the island, pieces made in Kerobokan are delivered by truck and installed on site by the workshop team.
